About me
Summary
I am a multidisciplinary visual artist specializing in various painting techniques, including oil, watercolor, gouache,
pencil, and acrylic, with a strong focus on creating diverse textures on canvas. I also work with mural painting on
different surfaces, and a large part of my work is created through a mixed-media approach.
In addition to painting, I have experience working in sculpture, ceramics, and traditional crafts, which enrich and
complement my visual practice.
The main themes of my art revolve around Afghan women, the history of Eastern art, and its connection to
contemporary concepts. In my recent works, I strive to create a visual language that bridges tradition with the
contemporary and explores the depth of Eastern cultural roots through artistic reflection. In one of my series, I have
worked on the historical Buddha artifacts at the National Museum of Kabul and the ancient murals of
Bamiyan.
